The Creators
Lois Taylor & Sam Lawrence
Our company is called Dance Centred and we work as professional community dance artists in Cornwall. We offer creative dance sessions for everybody whatever their health circumstances. We knew from working with Social Prescribers and partners such as Macmillan and Age UK that there were a lot of people isolated at home who were missing out on the opportunity to move, particularly in a creative way. It was really important to us that people at home could use the cards to move when they felt able, whether seated or standing. We wanted the cards to feel joyful and uplifting with a can-do approach rather than a set of prescribed exercises.”

Illustrator
Mel Chadwick
Mel Chadwick is the illustrator who creates the designs for the Physical Postcards. Sam, Lois and Lisa tell Mel what they'd like to see and then she turns those ideas into brightly coloured postcard designs!
Mel is based in Cornwall on The Lizard Peninsula and you might have seen her work before, for example on the Cornish Sea Salt pinch pots or The Discover Cornwall Map!
Mel says, "I think the best part of working on this project is that each of us is integral to the project, and we all have something different to bring"
